Medieval cast copper alloy coin weight for a half ryal or rose noble. The weight is circular and flat with a raised design on one side only, the other side is plain. The design is of the king with sword and square topped shield standing in a ship with rectangular bow and stern and an E on a banner above the stern; there is a rose on the side of the ship. It is 16.1mm in diameter, 2.7mm thick and weighs 2.0 grams, c.31 grains. The edges are badly corrosed and chipped suggesting it originall weighed considerably more. A cast lead-alloy circular uni-faced token with three visible casting spruces at the cardinal points. The token has a raised design of the initial 'E' on one side, the other side is blank. It is 21.20mm in diameter, 1.85 mm thick and weighs 4.8 grams. Lead tokens were locally made and had a wide variety of uses; they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are thought to be Post Medieval in date, 1500-1850 AD.

Medieval cast copper alloy suspension bar for a harness pendant of probable 13th to 14th century date. The mount is T-shaped with a horizontal top bar ending in a rounded lobe at one end with a separate copper-alloy rivet through it; the other end is lost to an old break. The sides of the bar curve inwards slightly between the ends and the centre. From the centre two bars project down which would have formed the loops to hold the axis bar on which the pendant hung. Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular unifaced token (1250-1850 AD). The token has been cast with a raised design of a equal arm cross on the obverse and a flat, undecorated reverse. The token measures 15.8mm in diameter, 1.2mm thick and weighs 1.80 grams. The edges are starting to laminate and crumble away suggesting it has a higher tin content than usual. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely and could be Medieval or Post Medieval in date (1250-1850 AD).

Cast lead alloy decorated spindle whorl. The whorl is circular with a flat base and domed top, slightly flattened in the centre, and a circular hole running through the centre. The upper side is decorated with raised lines radiating out from the central hole, these are thought to help the spindle work as well as be decorative. It is 32.7 mm in diameter and 11.6 mm thick; weights 52.5 grams. Locally cast lead spindle whorls were in use from the Roman to Post Medieval period and are hard to date precisely.

Knapped flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating from the Late Neolithic to Middle Bronze Age (c. 2500 BC - c.1150 BC). The arrowhead is bifacially worked and an elongated triangle in plan, with two notches in the base, between a central tang and a barb at either side. The point has broken away. One barb has also been lost, the other is small with a rounded end. The tang is relatively large and now rectangular as the end has broken away. It is 14.0 by 12.9mm and 3.2mm thick; it weighs 4.05g. This is lighter than the standard weight for an Ecu a la chaise but this is to be expected as a coin weights, are for the legal minimum rather than the average weight of a coin. Some weight may also have been lost to corrosion. This sort of weight was made in France and England between 1337-51 AD (Withers & Withers 1995, 39).

Cast lead circular unifaced token. The obverse of the token is decorated with the raised initials G over GF or GE. The reverse is blank. The token is 24.8mm in diameter, 2.33mm thick and weighs 6.84 grams. Tokens with simple designs were very easy to make, had a range of uses and continued in use for a long period. The arrangement of initials in this format was common in 17th century for married couples, the upper initial indicated the surname and the lower initials the husband and wives first names, suggesting this token dates to that time.

Post Medieval cast copper alloy sword belt fitting. It is roughly foliate in form, with incised decoration forming a leaf pattern. It has a trefoil shaped terminal at one end below which it narrows before widening to rounded shoulders about a third of the way down from which it tapers to the other end where there are two lugs flanking a forward projecting hook. A Medieval continental sterling imitation of a silver coin of Edward I, probably dating from 1313-1322 AD. It was struck for Gaucher of Chatillion, at the Mint of Yves. Cast copper alloy single loop buckle frame with integral cast plate. Dimensions 35.35mm x 16.08mm x 3.74mm and weight 5gms. The loop of the buckle is oval, 19.6mm long by 14.9mm wide and 2.1mm thick with a lipped pin rest. Traces of an iron pin remain in the circular pin hole, the sides of which project into the buckle loop. The fixing plate is 13.3mm long by 11.7mm wide and takes the form of a wide collar topped by a fleur d'lis. The remaining piece has a side bar 51.5mm long, with a rectangular cross section and a terminal in the form of a two-lobed fleur; projecting from beneath this fleur, and on the same plane, is the remnant of a sub-trapezoidal element, measuring 16.9mm long and with an uneven bottom edge which suggests the former existence of openwork decoration. A cast lead spindle whorl or possibly weight. It is disc shaped, with a flat base and top and slightly rounded sides. It has a circular hole running through the centre, with a ridge around the hole. It is 27.0mm in diameter, 7.3 thick with a hole 9.9mm and weighs 26.37 grams. Plain spindle whorls and weights were cast locally in lead from the Roman period onwards and are hard to date precisely although most are late Medieval - Post Medieval.

A flint bladelet with a bulb of percussion visible at one shorter end and a hinge fracture at the other; it is rounded at this latter end. The flint is a light grey colour with some patches of iron staining. There are two removals down the length of the flake on the dorsal face while the ventral face is smooth, as struck. The edges are serrated, but no obvious human retouch can be discerned. The object has the following dimensions: Weight: 3.24g, Length: 40.33mm, Width: 18.86mm, Thickness: 3.51mm. It can be dated broadly from the Mesolithic to Neolithic.

A cast copper-alloy single loop oval buckle frame with an ornate outer edge, dating from c. 1200-1400. The outer edge has two prominent, lobed knops flanking three transverse grooves moulded on the front, the back is plain and flat. It has a narrowed, offset strap bar and a dark green patina. The pin and plate are missing. It is 17.1mm long, 20.9mm wide, and 4.6mm thick. It weighs 2.75gm. Egan and Pritchard (1991) illustrate very similar buckles e.g. p.73, No 299. They suggest this type dates to 1200-1400 AD (p.76).

Medieval cast copper alloy 'beehive' shaped thimble with central hole. The thimble is almost hemispherical with slightly lengthened sides. The small circular pits are arranged in an irregular spiral from the base to the top leaving a small bare tonsure with a cenral circular hole. There is also a fine incised line around the base just above the rim.
