A copper alloy stock clasp of Post-Medieval date. The outer edge is straight and slightly flared with a rectangular hook on the underside. The opposite edge has three lobes, each containing a circular-headed rivet on the underside. The incised decoration forms a linear border around the edge and a bifurcating scroll from the central lobe out to the side lobes. A cast copper alloy possible casting mould, possibly used for casting lead musket shot. The object is rectangular in shape and measures 76.02 mm x 21.59 mm and is 10.01 mm thick. The object tapers and gets slightly thinner to one end. The object is curved along the length. Two holes have been drilled into each end of the object in the corners of the copper alloy plate. Medieval copper alloy hooked tag of Read's Early Post-Medieval Type 7. It is composed by six globular bodies with transverse crest ribs marked on, and it has two rivet holes with traces of iron rivets in. It widens to the end where probably was a suspension loop.
Dimensions: Length 33 mm, width 10 mm, thickness 6 mm. Weight 4.38g.

A complete cast copper-alloy clasp, probably a sword belt fitting. It has a circular terminal, which is attached to the tongue shaped bar by an integral neck. The tongue shaped bar consists of two hollow knobs with transverse ribs either side. One of the knobs retains part of an iron rivet. The body terminates with a small hollow lobe with a solid knob. The lobe retains an iron rivet. The back is flat and has iron corrosion behind the rivets. The length is 44.3mm, the width is 10.0mm and the weight is 5.19g.

Copper-alloy object, probably the upper portion of a stirrup. From the front, the object is rectangular with a rounded end, decorated with four radiating linear grooves forming a scallop-shell design. The sides have an oblique step as decoration. The lower edge of the step on each side appears to be the broken edge of an arm which would have protruded downwards at 45° to the sides. A cast copper alloy annular disc-on-pin buckle, with a pin constriction. The buckle has a diameter measurement of 25.8mm and it is 4mm thick. There is a pin in situ and intact, through the constriction. The pin has a large oval disc in the centre of its length. The plate has a serrated milled edge, with a raised oval on the centre. The pin then extends over the other side of the buckle frame; it is 27.9mm in length. Two notches have been drilled into the frame at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions, visible on the reverse, predumably to hold a central strap bar.

Roman copper alloy Hod Hill brooch probably of Hull type 62 or possibly 70C. It is in poor condition, with the hinged pin missing, broken head and damaged bow and catch-plate. There is a tiny patch of white metal coating remaining. The head is broken to one side of the slot for the hinge and the folded over section to hold the hinge is missing. Copper alloy composite Medieval strap end. The strap end consists of two outer plates separated by a forked inner plate. There is a copper alloy circular rivet at the strap attachment end and a further circular rivet just above the protruding acorn-shaped terminal. The acorn end is very simple with the protruding knop and a small sub-rectangular collar. No further decoration is visible. There is a mid whitish-grey corrosion product in-between the two sheets of copper alloy which make up the strap end.

Seventeenth century traders token of Lewis Williams of Chester dating to 1667. Williamson (1889) and Dickinson (1984) catalogue a half penny of Lewis Williams of Chester but not a penny.
It appears from the spacing of the words on the obverse that this token has been converted into a penny from a half penny (by removing the word HALF from between HIS and PENY, either by a change on the die or on the token. Lewis Williams half penny is Cheshire 41 (Williamson 1889, 88). This token is the second type from the county where a half penny die has been converted into a penny in this way (…

A cast copper alloy spoon finial (length: 34mm; width at shoulders of blade: 13mm; thickness at shoulders of blade: 3mm; weight: 3.03g). Intregrally cast with the blade, the small handle/ end knob (length: 7mm) has bead, reel and spool mouldings. The blade tapers fairly gently from shoulders to the blade where the forked tip has been broken off to form a jagged edge. The front of the blade has been engraved/ incised with possible animal motifs. This decoration, however, is fairly crude and mostly consists of unidentifiable linear markings.

Early post medieval Copper alloy token, 16mm in diameter and 1mm thick. It commemorates the raising of the Royal standard at Nottingham on 22nd August 1642. The obverse shows a sword surrounded by the legend VICTORY AND HONOUR. The reverse shows an illustration of a large rock with the inscription FIXT ON A ROCKE. A five pointed star with central mullet breaks up the inscriptions on each side. The object is in good condition with a brownish patina and is apparently very rare.

Cast copper-alloy pedestal type seal matrix with a oval die from which rises the handle in the form of a flattened trefoil on a short, oval sectioned, stem. The upper loop of the trefoil is missing to an old break, the lower side lobes have roughly circular holes through them. The die has an incised design of the letters I C with a branching tree running between them and spreading out above and below them and no outer border. The die is 14.2mm by 13.6mm; the matrix is now 20.6mm tall; it weighs 3.43grams.
