An incomplete Roman copper alloy finger ring, probably dating to between AD 50 and 250. It consists of the bezel and the adjacent parts of the hoop. The hoop on one side protrudes by c7.25mm while on the other side it extends for c11.45mm, the tapered point having been bent inwards. The rest of the hoop is missing to old breaks. The bezel is oval in shape and indented and about half of it contains fragments of glass which appears aqua at the back and amber towards the front. An unidentified copper alloy sub-oval object, possibly part of a dagger or sword pommel of likely Post-Medieval date or a walking stick top. A cast copper-alloy Post-medieval one ounce trade weight dating from the period AD 1714-1830 (George I - IV). The weight is discoidal, slightly raised in the central 7mm diameter area, with a central circular indentation and two radiating circumferential grooves at approximately 3mm and 8mm from the edge. It also has a raised rim and is trapezoidal in cross-section with the base slightly narrower than the top, suggesting that it may have been part of a stacking set. A twisted copper alloy fragment from a medieval or post medieval purse frame dating to the period c. AD 1450 - 1550. The fragment consists of an narrow length of copper alloy bar with a L-shaped cross-section which terminates in an old break at either end. The object has been twisted out of shape but was probably originally shallowly curved. A bent and slightly chipped cast copper-alloy thimble, possibly from Nuremberg, dated to c. 1330-1400. Despite the thimble being bent it is possible to identify its original form. Originally it would have been circular in plan and domed in profile (c. 10.2mm high). It edge is flat and narrow and it is made of thin metal. At the centre of the thimble on top of the dome is a single pierced hole (2.5mm diameter). The sides and top are covered in small circular indented pits.
