A cast copper-alloy foot from a cooking vessel of later medieval to post-medieval date. The foot is sub-trapezoidal in plan with a rounded complete end. The other end has a ragged break, possibly as result of mis-casting, which extends beyond the break. A prominent median rib, semi-circular in cross-section, runs down the length of the leg. The plain object is a dusty light-green colour overlying a red-brown metal, with large areas of off-white corrosion product.

A continental copy of an Edwardian penny issued by John the Blind of Luxemburg, King of Bohemia. This coin dates to after he became King of Bohemia in 1310 AD and before he relinquished his claim to the Polish throne in 1335 AD. Meyhew suggests they are relatively early in that period (1983, p103-4) probably 1310-1325 AD. They are usually fine silver (90%+) but a debased (50%) example is known of Mayhew 261. It is probably fine silver but gone brown due to being in iron rich Wealden clay (Mayhew 1983, 267-262).

The teminal has a slightly angular, projecting, oval point flanked by lobed knops to either side of the base. A possible cast copper-alloy pin now independent of its frame, possibly from a medieval annular buckle although it is unusually large. It is solidly cast, with a cross-section in the shape of a rectangle with rounded corners. It narrows (from 7.45mm to 2.4mm) as it tapers to a pointed tip which is bent downwards slightly. Medieval cast lead-alloy circular uni-faced token. The token has a raised design of square topped shield with a chequey pattern on one side. The reverse of the token has an raised five petalled flower. Above the shield is a piercing through the token, possibly secondary. It is 22.1mm in diameter, 3.1mm thick and weighs 6.14 grams. A cast copper alloy Anglo-Saxon saucer brooch, dating from the mid 5th to mid 6th centuries AD. The brooch is incomplete, missing some of the rim, the pin and part of the catch plate. The brooch has traces of gilding on the front with a raised design of a central circle surrounded by five running spirals or scrolled tendrils. Post Medieval - Modern cast lead two disc cloth seal. The disks sit one on top of the other and are joined by a tab. One had a hole in the centre and the other a projecting point which has been pushed through the hole and then stamped flat to fix them together. The tab is mostly missing from old breaks. The stamp has the initials R.W. The discs are bent and at most 27.4mm in diameter, 3.7mm thick and it weighs 14.22 grams. The simplcity of the design of initials rather than a privy mark suggests a later date, 17th-18th century (cf Egan p.84, no.234, 236 and p.86, no.242)

Medieval or Post Medieval cast copper alloy double loop buckle frame. The frame has two oval loops which are triangular in section with a flat back and steeply angled inner side and more bevelled outer side. The pin is missing. The buckle has a red brown surface with areas of green corrosion. The frame is 21.6mm long, 17.3mm wide and 2.2mm thick. It weighs 1.81 grams. Such a simple buckle is hard to date precisely, Whitehead (2003) illustrates a similar buckle (page 53, No.294) which he dates to c.1350-1650 AD.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy early Roman bow brooch, probably best classified as being a Colchester derivative type. The narrow head is cylindrical formed by rolling forwards, as with a strip-bow type, although the thickness of the bow is closer to the Roman hinge-headed types.
