An incomplete Roman copper-alloy hinged initial T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 50-150. The lower half of the bow has been lost, along with the catch-plate, and a portion of the pin. At the head of the brooch the wings survive largely complete to a width of 26.7mm. The wings are cylindrical, c. 3.5mm in diameter and taper very slightly towards the ends. Both have a shallow incised line on their front faces c. 1mm from the ends while the left wing appears to have incised cross hatching between this line and the end of the wing. Part of the body and the base of the handle of a large Medieval glazed pitcher dating to the 12th century. The piece has a high fired buff to pale orange fabric with remains of olive green glaze on the outside. The applied rod handle is circular in cross section, flattened and squeezed towards the base with a thumb impression, now partly missing. The outer face of the handle is slashed down the entire front and around the squashed base. The slashes run in two rows down the handle, angling downwards form the centre. A Roman copper alloy Polden Hill variant T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 75-160. The brooch is incomplete, comprising of the upper bow and head, and two wings. These are decorated on top with two raised collars on each side one half way along the wings the other at the terminal. The reverse is hollow where the spring would have been. A Post Medieval copper alloy single oval looped composite buckle with integral forked spacer onto which have been soldered separate front and back plates dating to the period cAD 1350 -1450. A Medieval to Post Medieval copper alloy double loop oval buckle dating to the period c AD1350 - 1700. The frame has a bevelled inside edge and three transverse engraved lines on each loop. The pin is missing. The central bar is narrowed and has a break towards one end. There is a small knop at either end of the bar. There are traces of black lacquer on both surfaces. The buckle measures 37.40mm in length, 33.17mm in width, 3.48mm in thickness and weighs 8.83g.
