A square trader's token issued by William Burges of Buckinghamshire in (AD) 1670. The token depicts a turbaned man pouring coffee, flanked by the date, 1670. The reverse has five lines of Script: William / Burges in / Aili[] / his half / Peny. Other 17th century square tokens often held the value of a halfpenny.
