A lead disc, blank on one side and with an impression of the obverse of an VRBS ROMA Roman nummus. For similar impressed objects, see this database at: LON-8C0467, WAW-013507 and LIN-FE2DF8, which has been described as a probably metal working hoard, or maybe a forgers hoard.
A suggestion by Dr. Martin Henig for LON-8C0467 was a tessera used possibly as a pass to allow entry into a military building or the Baths, for example. An alternative possiblity is as a seal, but theer are no holes for the attachment of cord.
