A Post Medieval lead bifaced token or possibly weight probably dating to between c. AD1500 - 1800 of Powell type 2. One side bears the raised letters L O retrograde with a line underneath. The other face is less clear and has at least two vertical lines separated by a pellet, one joining a horizontal line, probably an H or a 4. It measures 26.4mm in diameter and weighs 18.9g, about one third of an ouce. A medieval to post-medieval cast lead-alloy circular unifaced token of Powell type 1 (c. AD 1250-1800). The token has a raised design of a petalled flower with the 8 petals reaching the rim. In the background are the furnaces with a gantry projecting between them. In the foreground is a man carrying a bar for tapping the furnaces and at his feet are four bars of pig iron. Post Medieval cast lead-alloy bifaced token of Powell type 2 / Powell type 8 (c. AD 1500-1800). The token is square in shape, but has two rounded corners, one of which is chipped. On one face, at an angle to the edge, the token has a raised design of the letters T B with a star between them and a pellet below. Where the edges are less worn there is the remainder of a stamped border. On the other side, at a 45% angle to the TB , are the numbers 22 with an offset vertical line between them.
