Post Medieval cast lead-alloy bifaced token of Powell type 2 / Powell type 8 (c. AD 1500-1800). The token is square in shape, but has two rounded corners, one of which is chipped. On one face, at an angle to the edge, the token has a raised design of the letters T B with a star between them and a pellet below. Where the edges are less worn there is the remainder of a stamped border. On the other side, at a 45% angle to the TB , are the numbers 22 with an offset vertical line between them. A medieval to post-medieval cast lead-alloy circular unifaced token of Powell type 1 (c. AD 1250-1800). The token has a raised design of a petalled flower with the 8 petals reaching the rim. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely and could be Medieval or Post Medieval in date. Class: Powell Class 1
