Complete later Medieval cast copper alloy three dimensional zoomorphic mount or stud. The stud is in the form of an open-mouthed animal face with cross-hatching detail to the head, possibly intended to be a hat. The face has upturned ears protruding to either side of the 'hat' and two circular hollow recesses for the eyes which may have held glass or stones. The nose, which is sub-triangular in form is pronounced and below this the mouth of the animal, which may be intended to be a bear or dog, is open.
