A copper-alloy Nuremberg Rose/Orb jetton of 16th century date. The legends on this piece appear to be nonsensical, suggesting it is an annonymous issue struck between c. 1500 and c. 1550 (see Mitchiner 1988: 377). The obverse has three crowns and three lis arranged alternately around a central rose. The initial mark is a crown and the legend reads: ...]G BLIOA[....
