A fragment of clear, uncoloured glass dating from either the Roman period or Post-medieval. The fragment is very roughly triangular in shape measuring 41.5mm by 39.4mm by 29.7mm. It is of uneven thickness to a maximum of 2.3mm. The piece is curved, the degree of curvature (i.e. distance from the central part of the convex area to a line joining the furthest extremities) being c7mm. Very small air bubbles can be seen within the glass as well as specks of other material that are mostly very small though one irregular piece measures c6 x 3mm. An incomplete copper alloy T-shaped bow brooch.The bow and a fragment of the pin only remain. The wings are short and tubular, housing the axis bar for a hinged pin, the wings are filled with a white substance. The front of the wings are both decorated with three incised lines. The head of the pin is still attached to the bar in a notch between the wings. The head of the pin is expanded from the shaft and has a slight point at one side to press against the back of the brooch to tension the pin. A flat circular copper alloy object, probably a strap mount or brooch , the front of which has a convex surface which is recessed in the centre around a central raised boss. The boss is covered in a smooth bright green substance, possibly decayed enamel. There are traces of possible silvering around the inner edge of the copper alloy rim, the silver appears in rounded blobs suggesting that it could have been in contact with fire. Roman copper alloy Hod Hill brooch probably of Hull type 62 or possibly 70C. It is in poor condition, with the hinged pin missing, broken head and damaged bow and catch-plate. There is a tiny patch of white metal coating remaining. The head is broken to one side of the slot for the hinge and the folded over section to hold the hinge is missing. The upper bow has two transverse ridges extending out wider than the rest of the bow, the lower one may extend into side knops but this is unclear due to wear. A fragment of a copper alloy Roman wax spatula in the shape of the goddess Minerva. The head has a helmet (probably Corinthian) with an incomplete plume, and incised lines, which follow the base of the helmet, on the front, which may represent stylised eye slots. There is a raised rim bordering the edge of the helmet below which the hair, represented by diagonal incised lines, can be seen. The facial features are lost to abrasions. An incomplete Roman copper alloy developed T-shaped hinged brooch probably dating to AD75 - 150. Only the wings and upper part of the bow remain. The wings are chipped at each end but nearly complete and have a pattern across the front of a single incised diagonal line about halfway along and a pair of incised lines at the end. A Roman copper-alloy Aesica variant brooch, dating from the 1st century AD. The brooch would have been of the sprung variety, the wings taking the form of a horizontal cylinder, joined on the underside. At either end this cylinder curves upwards, terminating in a sub-circular setting, one of which contains traces of an unidentified white material.
