A Medieval cast copper-alloy pedestal type seal matrix dating to the 14th century. The matrix face is sub-circular. The pedestal is faceted with six facets and thins as it rises before it widens slightly to a collar topped by a rounded terminal. Below the collar is an incised transverse groove that emphasises the collar. Above the collar there is a flattened crescent, ends upwards, within which the terminal sits. An incomplete Roman copper alloy developed T-shaped hinged brooch probably dating to AD75 - 150. Only the wings and upper part of the bow remain. The wings are chipped at each end but nearly complete and have a pattern across the front of a single incised diagonal line about halfway along and a pair of incised lines at the end. The broken ends are filled with white cement to hold the hinge bar. There is a slot through the centre of the back of the head in which the pin would have hinged. Post Medieval copper alloy buckle frame dating to the period cAD1550 - 1650. The double oval looped frame has a moulded shell like knop in the centre of each loop and a small knop at each end of the narrowed strap bar. The shell shaped knops have convex curved outer edges and converge to an inner point that projects into the loop slightly. An incomplete Medieval (1350 - 1450 AD) copper alloy oval, lipped buckle frame of Meols Type 4, missing its pin. The bar is slightly flattened, narrowed and offset. The slightly expanded point (lip) in the centre of the outer edge of the frame has an incised transverse notch for the pin. The buckle measures 17.79mm in length, 15.03mm in width, 1.79mm in thickness and weighs 0.83g. Similar buckle frames from London (Egan & Pritchard 1991: 70, nos.279-283) date between AD 1350 and 1450.

Medieval copper alloy casket key dating from the late 12th to early 14th century. It has a lozenge shaped bow with a circular cnetral hole and a solid oval cross sectioned shank with a projecting pin at the end. There is a slight expanded knop on both faces of the shank at the junction with the bow. The bit is solid and broadly rectangular in form with an indent in the side closer to the terminal. The key measures 32.79mm in length, 9.70mm in width at the bow, 1.55mm in thickness and weighs 1.88g. A similar example can be found in Read (2001:72) no. 558 which he dates to the late …

A fragment of a copper alloy Roman wax spatula in the shape of the goddess Minerva. The head has a helmet (probably Corinthian) with an incomplete plume, and incised lines, which follow the base of the helmet, on the front, which may represent stylised eye slots. There is a raised rim bordering the edge of the helmet below which the hair, represented by diagonal incised lines, can be seen. The facial features are lost to abrasions. A Medieval to Post Medieval copper alloy double loop oval buckle dating to the period c AD1350 - 1700. The frame has a bevelled inside edge and three transverse engraved lines on each loop. The pin is missing. The central bar is narrowed and has a break towards one end. There is a small knop at either end of the bar. There are traces of black lacquer on both surfaces. An incomplete cast copper alloy dagger. The dagger is broadly triangular with a straight sides tapering to a rounded point. It is almost flat in cross section, with a defined, thinned edges leaving a low central rib on both faces. At the hilt end the remnant of a flared tang with a semi-circular hole on either side for missing rivets. Both faces have some raised and uneven corrosion products, particularly at the tang end. Two complete copper alloy figurative harness pendants of 13th or 14th century date both in the form of an eagle.
