A fragment of a Roman copper alloy brooch. Only the foot and catchplate remain. The bow thins and narrows evenly to the pointed foot. Close to the break in the bow is a small circular indentation and the foot is slightly thickened although vary narrow, with two transverse notches. The catchplate is complete with a circular hole drilled through the centre. The piece measures 29.0mm, 5.75mm in width, 3.95mm in thickness and weighs 3.63g.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy initial T-shaped brooch probably dating to cAD 50-150. Only the lower part of the bow and catchplate remain. The top section of the remaining bow has a pattern of four evenly spaced converging incised lines which run down the bow to the start of the foot where there end in a double transverse incised line. An incomplete Roman copper alloy developed T-shaped hinged brooch probably dating to AD75 - 150. Only the wings and upper part of the bow remain. The wings are chipped at each end but nearly complete and have a pattern across the front of a single incised diagonal line about halfway along and a pair of incised lines at the end. The broken ends are filled with white cement to hold the hinge bar. There is a slot through the centre of the back of the head in which the pin would have hinged. This is filled with iron corrosion, probably the remains of an iron pin.

A copper alloy fragment of a Roman Aesica brooch, dating to c. AD. 60-90. This fragment consists of the upper section of the high arched bow, wings and part of the crest.
At the head of the bow are the wings that are semi-circular in cross-section and have a diameter of 3.9mm and a width of 21.1mm. The circular end caps are broken and the spring and the central bar it was wound around are missing as is the pin. The brooch consists of the head, the right wing and a portion of the bow. The head has a semi-circular sectioned wing, slightly concave at the back to accommodate the spring (not found with the artefact). An incomplete Roman copper alloy finger ring of Henig Type VIII/Guiraud (1989), Type 2f dating to c. AD 175 - 300.
The ring is very fragmented, the majority of the surviving part being made up of its bezel and one shoulder. The bezel is oval in shape measuring 13.6mm by 11.6mm and contains a second oval section that is raised 1.5mm. This second feature is 10.4mm x 9.3mm and is decorated by indented lines radiating from a central indented c shape.

An incomplete large Roman copper alloy hinged developed T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. 75 - 150. The brooch comprises of the upper bow, the majority of the wing casing and a broken head loop, the lower bow, catchplate and pin are all missing.
At the head of the brooch the cylindrical wings survive almost intact except for the tip of the left wing where white cement is visible. A Roman copper alloy initial T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 50-100. Only the head and upper part of the bow of the brooch survive. The wings are broken at the end and measure 23.59mm in width and are cylindrical with a sub-rectangular slot cut into the reverse to accommodate a hinged pin, now lost. White cement can be seen in the ends of the broken wings, to hold the cross bar.

The coiled wire spring and chord is contained within a horizontally aligned, open-ended cylinder, the wire pin projecting from a central slit. The lower half of the pin is missing and it is bent to one side. The cylinder is decorated with pairs of line, one pair running parallel and adjacent to each open end and one horizontal pair across the centre of the front.

A Roman copper alloy finger ring dating to the 2nd or 3rd century. The intaglio is missing from the raised oval box which is in the centre of an incised lozenge shape. Below this on each shoulder is a worn pattern, ending in an incised horizontal line. The pin, spring mechanism and the lower part of the bow, including the catch-plate, are missing.
The brooch is generally T-shaped in plan and has wings which are semi-cylindrical and open at the rear. In plan, the bow narrows from the wings towards the break at the bottom.
