A copper alloy Roman phallic mount dating from c. AD 43 - 410. The object is 'T-shaped' in plan, the phallus itself being triangular in cross-section and its straight sides gradually converging towards the raised, moulded tip. At the other end, the testicles project at a right angle from the right and left hand sides and an oblique ridge separates the rounded testicles from the phallus. A Roman copper alloy finger ring dating to the 2nd or 3rd century. The intaglio is missing from the raised oval box which is in the centre of an incised lozenge shape. Below this on each shoulder is a worn pattern, ending in an incised horizontal line. The bezel is larger than the box, oval with triangular projections on each corner where there is a distinct carination betwen the bezl and shoulders. The ring narrows from the shoulder into the hoop. A Roman copper alloy mount or possibly buckle pin dating to the first century AD. The piece is a flat plate, winged in shape with curving wings forming C-shapes running back from a central point. Beteen the base of the 'wings' is a flat projecting triangular tab ending in an old break. There is a groove in each wing which would have been filled with enamel. Small fragments survive in the centre and were probably green or blue. The reverse is plain and the item has a green patina. The pin measures 17.49mm in length, 19.75mm in width and weighs 1.70g. A Roman ceramic rim sherd from a Black Burnished Ware (BB1, from Wareham/Poole Harbour, Dorset) vessel, probably a bowl, probably dating to c. AD 44-150. A hard fired dark grey/black fabric with an abundant sub-angular quartz temper, burnished on both the internal and external surface. It is from a simple open-mouthed vessel with a beaded rim and no decoration. The sherd measures 28.67mm in length, 20.45mm in width and weighs 5.01g. A similar example can be found in Seager Smith and Davies (1993) form 13, dated to between the first century and the early second century AD.

A Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative developed T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 50-160. Only the head and upper part of the bow of the brooch survives. The wings measure 27.5mm in width and are cylindrical with a sub-rectangular slot cut into the reverse to accomodate a hinged pin. Areas of iron corrosion suggest the hinge bar and possibly the pin were iron. The bow is D-shaped in section with a flat back and convex front. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy finger-ring (c. AD 300-410). The bezel is off-set to one side of the hoop and may have been designed as such. There is a small break on the edge of the bezel. This finger-ring has a flat, circular bezel which is decorated with a pattern of incised lines within a circular border. An incomplete Roman cast copper alloy finger ring of Henig Type I set with a yellow/amber glass intaglio. The ring has a robust plain oval bezel that is raised unusually high above the level of the hoop on plain shoulders. The shoulders are triangular in plan and section, widening evenly from the hoop to the bezel, from c2mm to c10mm. An almost complete Roman copper alloy military buckle dating to AD 100 to 250. The buckle consists of singular loop with semi-scrolling ands and a small integral plate with a slot for the pin. The pin is missing. The frame is D-shape and measure 25.1 mm width at the point of maximum expansion. It is sub-rectangular in section, with a convex outer side and a flat inner side and reverse. The brooch appears to have a high tin or zinc conent or heavy white metal coating giving a silvery appearence. An incomplete Early Roman copper alloy applied hook brooch of unusually strip like bow dating to AD 40 to 80. Only the bow and one wing survive, the rest is missing to old breaks. The remaining wing projects out at 90 degrees to the head and is a rectangular plate, 7.6mm long, with the broad face towards the front, the end does not bend back to hold the spring.
