An incomplete Roman copper alloy bracelet dating to cAD 300 to 400. The bracelet is formed of a strip of copper alloy which has been bent into an irregular U-shape. One end is complete and narrows to catch and the other finishes in a straight, patinated break. The catch is formed of a hook; the hook is narrower than the main bracelet with a thin initial section then a thickened terminal which is round in plan and triangular in profile with the upper edge of the triangle slightly hooked over. A copper alloy possible Roman crenellated bracelet dating from about AD 250 - 400. It is a thin strip of copper alloy, rectangular in cross-section, and slightly bent, tapering at both ends. It has scalloped shaping, or five wide lobes along one edge and the other edge is straight but bending in a slight concave shape. These lobes could be the worn remains of crenellations. The object has a smooth green patina, flaked off in places. The object is 58.6mm long, 3.3mm wide and 0.9mm thick. It weighs 0.73g. An incomplete Roman copper alloy bracelet. The bracelet is formed of a curved strip of metal which is even in width and thickness throughout its surviving length, (29.5mm long by 8.3mm wide). It has a convex front and a concave back. The front decoration is divided into three bands along the length. Either side of the central band the outer bands are decorated with is a herringbone design made of lines recessed (stamped) into the bracelet. One end of a late Roman copper alloy strip bracelet. The piece has one complete, slightly tapered terminal with a squared end and a break at the other end. It is curved in profile but less than one would expect froma bracelet suggesting it has bent out of shape. Cast copper alloy bracelet, possibly of Roman date or possibly Post Medieval. It is a thin bad rectangular in section with a moulded outer side. The moulding is worn but appears to be annulets containing small pellets or possibly flowers with opellet centre interspersed with raised lines with might be leaves. It has broken at one point and is now distorted. The current length of the bracelet is: 67.5mm, current width: 47.1mm, metal thickness: 1.9mm, cross section: 3mm and it weighs 5.22g. Fragment of a cast copper alloy strip; it is rectangular in cross-section and bent into a U shape with old, straight, cuts at either end. The outer side is divided into three main zones by longitudinal grooves. The central zone is plain but corroded.
