Part of a post medieval glass stem dating to c1550 - 1650. The almost colourless mould-blown stem would have come from a goblet and has broken at the two narrowest points. The remaining section of stem is broadly conical, widening out quickly from the circular sectioned solid connecting rod at the top, then having distict shoulders from which point it narrows in a convex curve to the lower constriction where it has broken across the open part. A Post-Medieval lead cloth seal, probably dating to c. AD 1550-1800. The seal is incomplete, with only the integral rivet and an adjoining section of the disc from which it expands surviving. The surviving section of the disc depicts a design of an eagle or perhaps more likely, a griffin, advancing left, right foot in front with each talon terminating in a pellet. Dimensions: length 15.7mm; width 14.4mm; thickness 2.8mm; weight 3.13g. A similar, but not identical Italian seal can be seen at http://bagseals.org/gallery/main.php/images/main.php?g2_itemId=22861.

A Post-Medieval lead powder measure cap, probably dating to the 17th century. The cap has slightly flaring sides, with a flat, oval top. The cap has been crushed, with the sides squashed closely together. The remains of two attachment loops survive at the top of the cap, one on either side. Faint vertical casting seams are visible on either side of the cap, on a line perpendicular to the attachment loops. The measure cap is 28.13mm iin length, 21.04mm in width and weighs 10.93g. Part of a copper alloy Post Medieval trapezoidal buckle dating to cAD1620 - 1680. Only one loop of the double loop buckle remains. The outer edge is expanded into a triangle in the centre, flanked by points at each corner. On the front of the outside edge there is an incised line running from top to bottom. The front has traces of a silvery sheen but the back is plain. The buckle measures 17.46mm in length, 11.90mm in width and weighs 1.26g. A post medieval to modern copper alloy finger ring. The ring has eight panels each of which is decorated with the same pattern. This gives it a faceted, octagonal outline with a circular centre. This is a raised pattern on a recessed field and comprises a central quatrefoil surrounded by pellets and in each corner is a trefoil within lobes. Incised vertical lines separate the panels. There is no visible makers mark. The ring measures 19.69 in diameter 6.9mm wide and 1.9mm thick, and weighs 19.69g. The form and decoration suggests a 17th to 19th century date.

An almost complete post medieval copper alloy saddle pommel dating to the 16th or 17th century. The hollow and domed pommel comprises two halves which are separated. It was originally a short cyliner with a domed end and curved cut away area on one side at the base. One half has a projecting arm with a rivet hole, next to the cur away area, and there is a second rivet hole about half way along the lower edge. Post Medieval silver penny of the Commonwealth dating to AD 1649 to 1660. North (1997:206) no.2729. The coin has a worn piercing from the reverse to the obverse near the edge and probably originally circular, at 1 o'clock ont he obverse and 6 o'clock on the reverse. The top and and bottom edges have been bent forward and back to give an S-shaped profile, common on modified coins of this period. Part of the edge is also missing to an old break.

Description A complete post-Medieval gold finger ring. The ring has a hexagonal bezel, set with a finely faceted garnet which projects from the bezel; convex in profile. Each lateral face of the bezel is decorated with a rectangular facet, with a lower border in slight relief, with a central upwards pointed projection. The underside of the bezel is 'keeled' and faceted, with each bearing a foliate motif left reserved against a niello inlaid field. A Post-Medieval copper alloy enamelled button dating to c. AD 1640-1700. The button is circular in plan, with a convex front and concave reverse. From the centre of the reverse an integral shank expands, terminating in a now incomplete drilled loop. Traces of iron corrosion are affixed to both the loop and reverse face of the button, suggetsing the original presence of an iron chain. Both faces are stamped, with a "B" on one side and several other incomplete or unclear stamps and on the other, at 9 o'clock relative to the previous stamp, is the letter "P".
