An unusually large and decorative medieval silver annular brooch complete with pin and decorated with incised lines, inlaid niello and an inscription. The brooch is circular in cross section and, while weighty, the weight suggests it is hollow. There is a constriction at one point where the pin head is looped and corresponding slight wear on the opposite side of the ring, on the front where the pin point rests. Medieval cast copper alloy sub-oval pendant loop. The artefact is made up of a flat circular loop; at one end of which is a collared projecting acorn terminal knop of width 4.4mm. On the opposite side there is a rectangular bar with a flat, filed, top edge. The sides are rectangular in section and thin towards the rectangular bar. The metal is pitted and it is a mid greyish-brown colour. The object survives to a length of 15.7mm, 11.4mm wide, 2.9mm thick and weighs 0.99 grams. It widens to terminate in a flat, extended foot, which, when placed on a flat surface, sets the object at an angle and has a D-shaped imprint with a straight front edge. A twisted copper alloy fragment from a medieval or post medieval purse frame dating to the period c. AD 1450 - 1550. The fragment consists of an narrow length of copper alloy bar with a L-shaped cross-section which terminates in an old break at either end. A bent and slightly chipped cast copper-alloy thimble, possibly from Nuremberg, dated to c. 1330-1400. Despite the thimble being bent it is possible to identify its original form. Originally it would have been circular in plan and domed in profile (c. 10.2mm high). It edge is flat and narrow and it is made of thin metal. At the centre of the thimble on top of the dome is a single pierced hole (2.5mm diameter). The sides and top are covered in small circular indented pits. A fragment of a silver spoon dating to the Medieval to Post-medieval period. The remaining portion comprises a length of the shank and a fragment of the bowl where they join. The stem has a lozenge shaped cross section and tapers distally. At the distal end the stem terminates in an old break. The stem creates a 'V' shape on the underside of the spoon bowl, where it joins. The bowl may well have been fig-shaped but too little exists to be certain. Three body sherds that refit to become one fragment of a Medieval cooking pot dating to c. AD 1150 to 1350. The sherds are both highly abraded and have been reburnt giving them a hard brittle feel. Each of the sherds are predominantly reddish orange in colour with one large surface being a burnt blackish brown colour from burning. Each sherd has common rounded ironstone and patinated chert inclusions up to 2mm and 2.5mm respecively. When refitted the fragments total length is 38.6mm, while their total width is 28.6mm. their maximum thickness is 7.4mm while they weigh a total of 8.64 g

An unusually shaped medieval copper alloy harness pendant, probably dating to the 13th or 14th century. Only the upper half of this example survives. The artefact consists of an outer frame and the arm from which a pendant would have swung. A Medieval copper alloy single loop buckle dating to between cAD1250 -1400. The frame is D-shaped with a small knop in the centre of the outside edge holding the slot for the pin, which is missing. There is a small knop at each end of the strap bar which is narrowed and offset. The buckle measures 19.40mm in length, 11.60mm in width, 1.78mm in thickness and weighs 0.82g. This is an example of a Meols type 4 dating to the lte 14th century similar to Egan (2007, 88) no. 496.
