Medieval copper alloy English jetton of the Sterling head series. Class 15, Mernick type 2d.3 / 43 dating to AD 1320 to 1335. Sterling bust facing / long cross moline with 3-pellet clusters in each angle; border has pellets between the curling ends of the cross which contain small dots. Weight is 1.36g, diameter 19.2mm, thickness 0.9mm. This is similar to Mitchener (1988:103) type 142, but has pellets rather than saltires in the reverse border.

A Medieval copper alloy double looped bucke, probably dating to c. AD 1350-1650. The buckle comprises of two oval loops with a D-shaped cross section. The front of the frame is decorated with a series of regularly spaced relatively deep, obliquely angled grooves. A copper alloy pin remains around the bar. A small medieval copper alloy annular buckle, probably dating to c. AD 1200-1400. The frame is broadly circular in plan, although with a very slightly offset bar showing sings of wear from the copper alloy sheet pin. The pin survives, but has been displaced around the frame. The frame is sub-circular in cross section. Dimensions: length 12.9mm; width 14.4mm; thickness 4.1mm; weight 1.15g. A medieval copper alloy mount dating to the period c.AD 1350-1400 The mount has a large central domed boss that is decorated with five horizontal grooves. Either side of this central lobe is a circular domed lug with a separate small copper alloy rivet running through a hole in the centre to secure the fitting to the strap or belt. The rivets are complete with roved ends, one bent to the side. The reverse is concave behind the central boss and end lugs. There are traces of a green patina on the upper surface. An incomplete medieval lead personal seal matrix (AD c. 1200 - c. 1400). The seal matrix is flat and vesica (pointed-oval) shaped. The reverse has a misshapen and incomplete loop at one end and the rest is decorated with a raised design, possibly representing a fleur-de-lis. The die design consists of a central fleur-de-lis motif with an oval plain grooved border. The inscription around the edge possibly reads S' A[LI]CIE VX' hEn' (Seal of Alice wife of Henry). The matrix is damaged on one side.

A copper alloy Medieval to early Post-Medieval thimble dating to the period cAD 1350 - 1550. The thimble has sloping sides but the top is missing. The outer surface is covered in irregularly sized circular pits, possbily beginning in a spiral but becoming very irregular on the sides. The thimble measures 18.22mm in diameter at the base, 17.60mm in height and weighs 2.94g. Holmes (1988) notes irregularly spaced pits seen in this example are features typical of an earlier date range with pits generally arranged in neat spirals by the 16th century.

A medieval (c.1250-1400) copper alloy circular seal matrix with a pierced semi-circular lug to the reverse. To the opposite (front) face it depicts a six-pointed star, a pellet in each angle, above a crescent. A medieval gilded and enameled copper alloy mount dating to c. AD 1150-1300. The mount is T-shaped in plan and flat in section and at its centre is a gilded engraving of the eagle of St. John. The eagle is halo'd with its head looking left and the tips of both wings pointing to the right.
