A cast copper-alloy piece, probably representing a handle from the hinged lid of a post-Medieval tankard. The base, which would have been attached to the lid, is broadly horizontal, with a slight upward curvature. At its front end this base extends into a loop which curves backwards before terminating in a moulded, acorn-shaped finial.The V-shaped cleft between the acorn and the base of the object has been filled with metal. Measurements: 23.7mm long, 13.4mm wide, 6.5mm thick, 7.14g.

The strap fitting is shield shaped, with the top edge extending into a central fleur-de-lis flanked by two pointed corners, and the bottom end having a rounded lobe in place of its point. A copper-alloy stirrup-strap mount, dating from the Early Medieval to Medieval periods. The vertical face of the mount is sub-trapezoidal in plan and of openwork design. At the centre of this face is a moulded zoomorphic mask; this is flanked by 12 irregular perforations. A perforated lead-alloy weight of probable Medieval to post-Medieval date. The weight is of truncated-conical form and has an vertical aperture which is of sub-oval cross section and located off-centre.There is a circular groove around the middle of the base, and the upper face has one diagonal groove extending across it. There is also one oval indent on the side of the whorl, which is possibly evidence of the casting process. The perforation has a diameter of 10.8mm. The object measures 28.2mm high, 13.8mm wide, 9.6mm thick and has a weight of 50.41g.

One half of a copper-alloy double-loop buckle, dating from the early-post-Medieval period. The remaining side is broadly 'D' shaped in plan. Most of the frame is of sub-triangular cross section, the only exception being the axis bar, which has a trapezoidal section and a moulded knop at either end. The copper-alloy pin has been loosely looped around this axis bar, its point resting on the projecting, lis-shaped pin rest which is located at the centre of the frame's curved left-hand end, flanked by two pairs of angled mouldings. A copper-alloy double-loop buckle frame, dating from the Late Medieval to post-Medieval periods (c.1350 - c.1650). The symmetrical frame is sub-rectangular in plan, has a trapezoidal cross section and widens at the right- and left-hand ends, into two pointed pin rests. The buckle is undecorated and has a dark green patina. The pin is missing. The buckle weighs 4.86g, is 33.6mm long, 28.7mm wide and has a thickness of 2.3mm. A similar example can be found in Whitehead, R, 1996, p. 56, No.322.

A copper-alloy awl of probable Late Bronze Age date. (c.1000-801 BC). The centre of the awl is rectangular in cross-section, tapering to a rectangular-sectioned tang and circular-sectioned tip. The awl is 93.9mm long. In the middle section it is 5.3mm wide and 5.2mm thick. The circular cross-section is 6.3mm in diameter and it weighs 13.23 grams. It has a darkish green patina.

Just over half of a copper-alloy double-loop buckle of early post-Medieval date. The intact side of the frame is broadly 'D' shaped, with a triangular cross section, a pointed pin rest and a similar pointed knop at the top and bottom ends of the axis bar. The pin has been looped around this axis bar and is of D-shaped cross section, parallel-sided for most of its length, tapering to a point at the distal end. Only a small portion of the other side of the frame remains. The surfaces of the buckle retain traces of a black coating.

A cast copper-alloy object, based on a Roman or Ancient Greek coin, and probably dating from the post-Medieval to modern periods. The object comprises a copper-alloy disc with with a relief-moulded head, facing right, on one side; on the other side are two standing figures. Protruding from the edge of the disc is a sub-cylindrical projection, broken at its distal end, where there is attached iron staining. This object was originally recorded as an Iron Age coin or token; however, it is more likely to be an incomplete pipe tamper of much later date (JW, 7.6.19).
