A fragment of Early Post-Medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy book-clasp, consisting of the clasp or hook end only. The fragment is now rather bent and measures 25.46x26.79x3.42mm and weighs 3.2g. The sheet copper alloy is 0.78mm thick and parallel-sided, with punched decoration. The clasp consists of a bent projection (U-shaped in profile) 14.63mm wide. The opposite edge has a jagged break, with a centrally-placed rivet hole 1.62mm in diameter just behind it. Around this is a circular incision, c.7mm in diameter. An almost complete Neolithic (3500-2100 BC) greenstone axehead, measuring 87.82x65.78x32.81mm and weighing 295.46g. There is some (worn) damage at the butt end and on one face (the flatter face). The surface is now rough and pitted due to weathering, but would have originally been polished smooth. The axehead is sub-triangular in shape and lenticular in cross section. A cast-copper leg from a ewer (water jug), of Medieval date (1300-1500). It measures 66.16x13.24x17.40mm and weighs 64.69g. The leg is one of three that would have been integral with the base of the vessel. The inside face of the leg is flat and the outside face is faceted to form a pentagonal cross-section. The front of the leg is flattened along its central arise. Immediately above the foot there is a prominent horizontal ridge.
