An incomplete copper alloy "kräftig-profilierte" or 'strongly profiled' brooch dating from the earlier Roman period (AD 43-AD 100). The brooch survives in good shape with only the pin and part of the spring missing. The other components are in very good condition, with a smooth patina. The brooch can be classified as a "kräftig-profilierte" type. It has short wings that are slightly concave at rear in order to form a seating for a bilateral spring of which about half is missing.
