An incomplete post-Medieval copper-alloy dress-hook (c. 1500-c. 1700). Read Class E, Type 8. The attachment loop and most of the rearward hook are missing. This dress-hook has a sub-circular plate. The plate has moulded decoration at the front resembling an escallop shell with scrolls above. A stub of the hook survives. The rear face is plain. The dress-hook is corroded and largely green with traces of gilding at the front and rear. Length: 26.2mm; width: 22.5mm; thickness: 2.6mm. Weight: 2.11g. A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy coin weight for thirty six shillings (c. 1740-c. 1780). It was used to weigh against the 4 escudos, a Portuguese coin otherwise known as the Johannes or "Joe" in England. The value was equal to that of thirty six shillings, with a weight of 14.32g. (Withers and Withers 2011: 66). However, this coin weight weighs 12.97g. The weight is marked on both faces: "S / 36". Diameter: 23.3mm. Weight: 12.97g. A fragment of a Neolthic flint axehead (3500 BC-2100 BC). The fragment is the butt end of the axehead. It is sub-rectangular in plan, sub-triangular in side view and pointed oval in cross-section. Both faces have been knapped overall. The arises are not sharp. No polish visible. One face has a light buff patina and the other face has a variable patina ranging from pale buff to reddish brown. The break is old and is also patinated in similar colors to the faces. 60.6 x 41.2 x 20.9mm. Weight: 56.94g.

An incomplete polished stone axehead of Neolithic date (3500 BC - 2100 BC). The axehead has been made from a pebble of local stone, greyish green in colour. It is sub-triangular in plan and in side view it is pointed at the top and rounded at the bottom. It has a chip at each corner of the cutting edge on both faces. These appear to be recent breaks. Old breaks are situated on each face of the butt. These breaks have overlying striations have may have been created by an attempt to smooth the breaks. A complete chert implement of probable Neolithic date (c. 3500 BC - c. 2100 BC). Length 146mm, width 67mm and 37mm thick. Weight 404g. The implement has been made on a large flake. It is sub-rectangular in plan and the butt and cutting edge are rounded in profile. It is sub-triangular in cross-section. The sides taper slightly from the butt to the cutting edge. This implement is now sub-square in plan and is pointed-oval ('lenticular') in cross-section. In plan, the sides flare slightly from the break to the curved cutting edge. A complete Late Neolithic flint oblique arrowhead (2700 BC-2351 BC). This arrowhead has been made on a broken tertiary flake. The dorsal face has been retouched at each side edge and the removals are short and invasive, scaled and low angled. The ventral face has conchoidal ripples and one edge has been retouched. These removals are short parallel and low angled. The break forms one side and it would seem that the flake was chosen in order to take advantage of the break to form a side. Fragment of a silver gilt finger ring of probable Modern, nineteenth century date. Length 16mm, width 14mm and about 2mm thick. Weight 2.36g. The bezel is 14mm in width and 12mm in length and has a symmetrical schematic floral design. Only a small portion of the hoop survives. This is 6.5mm in width. Each edge of the hoop is decorated with cabling which enclose obliquely set elongated pellets along the centre of the hoop. The breaks appear to be old but clearly show that the ring is made of silver.

Silver finger ring of Modern, nineteenth century date (AD 1800 - AD 1900). Diameter 17mm, width of hoop 5mm, thickness of hoop 0.4mm. Weight 0.79g.
