A complete Iron Age copper-alloy possible toggle fastener or strap fitting (c. 100 BC-c. 40 BC). This object is tri-lobed with an integral semi-circular loop. The tri-lobed element is flat on both faces. On each face each lobe has a central hole that does not penetrate through. The holes may have been filled with enamel or coral. There is a pair of 'lips' on the edge of each lobe. The loop is sub-circular in cross-section. The object is corroded in places and has a well developed shiny dark green patina. An incomplete Iron Age to Roman cast copper-alloy rosette/thistle brooch (AD 25-60). This brooch has tubular open-ended wings which are not fully enclosed due to a horizontal slot at the rear. The ends of the wings are incomplete as they are broken and there is an off-centre vertical pin slot at the rear. The wings have a maximum diameter of 8.3mm. Within the wings are the remains of an iron spring and pin loop. On the wings, just above the top of the bow, are two sets of oblique decorative grooves. A fragment of a ceramic vessel of probable Iron Age date (800 BC - AD 43). Length: 19.0mm; width: 28.0mm and 11.0mm thick. Weight: 5.87g. This undecorated fragment is part of the rim and is sparsely tempered with relatively large pieces of whitish angular flint. The coarse surface is a brown (Munsell Color 7.5YR 5/4). There is insufficient rim to enable the diameter of the vessel to be estimated. The fragment is in a stable condition and has fresh breaks.

A complete cast copper alloy toggle of late Iron Age date (c. 100 BC – c. AD 43). Length: 35.0mm; width: 11.1mm and 10.1mm thick. Weight: 14.67g. The toggle has a central sub-rectangular block which has a length of about 13.0mm, a width of 11.1mm and is 8.0mm thick. It has a vertical elongated oval-shaped hole in the centre. Protruding either side of the block there is a short circular sectioned arm. Each arm tapers slightly towards a dome-shaped terminal which has a maximum diameter of 10.0mm. A complete cast copper alloy sword-belt fastener of Late Iron Age date (120 BC - AD 43). Treasure case no. 2006 T396. Diameter 42.0mm. Weight 50.49g. The fastener, cast in one, is in the form of a circular hoop. It has a stud fixed to one side by a neck which projects at an angle of about 90° to the hoop. The external diameter of the hoop is 42.0mm, the internal diameter is 24.0mm and it is about 6.0mm thick.
