A complete possible spindle whorl of Unknown date (c. AD 43-c. 1800). The undecorated spindle whorl is sub-conical (domed) in form. The top is slightly flattened causing spreading of the metal and a reduction in hole size to about 6.0mm. It has a central vertical hole which has a diameter of about 7.5mm at the bottom. A small nick at the side has a raised a bump. This spindle whorl is smooth, off white and buff in places. Height: 10.5mm; maximum width: 20.3mm. Weight: 19.65g.

An incomplete post-Medieval to Modern lead alloy toy gun (c. 1850-c. 1920). The hollow object is sub-triangular in plan and pointed oval in cross-section. Both sides have similar decoration. The fore-stock is decorated with impressed cross-hatching. The shoulder stock has raised floral decoration which is formed of lines of pellets and "rosettes". There is a plain seam above and below. This toy is dark grey with some off-white deposits. Length: 32.0mm; width: 15.4mm; thickness: 8.6mm. Weight: 10.23g (the weight includes a small portion of debris within).

A lead alloy token of Elizabeth I (1558-1603), struck c. 1574 (North 1991: 140, ref: 2063). North comments: ‘There exist a number of lead or pewter pieces which have in the past been described as patterns or tokens. It is more probable however that they were political medalets or counters, as some would appear to relate to Mary, Queen of Scots, and the workmanship on most is rather crude. They are normally found in London, and were struck about 1574 (North 1991: 140).
