Fragment of a copper alloy circular gilded mount with interlace work of Early Early-Medieval date (AD 600 - AD 700). The mount would have been about 68mm in diameter, when complete. It is about 2.5mm thick and weighs 10.41g. Two small portions of the central part survive and these are decorated with three-stranded Style II animal interlace (part of a foot or paw appears to be present). A complete sheet copper alloy mount of Medieval date (AD 1100 – AD 1500). Diameter 35mm, thickness 1.6mm. Weight 8.05g. The disc is fractured and misshapen and was probably flat originally. At the centre is a circular perforation which is 3.3mm in diameter. The front is decorated with a cross pattée motif, the arms of which extend to the periphery of the disc. Part of a cast copper alloy mount (possibly) of probable Early-Medieval date AD 410 – AD 1066). Length: 29.5mm, width: 29.6mm and 2.7mm thick. Weight: 4.88g. The object resembles the head-plate of an Early Medieval radiate-headed brooch although it is definitely not part of a brooch. It is largely flat and has a projecting lobe at the ‘top’ and one at each ‘side’. Each lobe is perforated and is filled with corroded iron, possibly the remains of rivets or pins. An incomplete cast copper alloy and iron zoomorphic vessel mount of Roman date (c. AD 43-c. AD 300). Length: 23.0mm; width; 20.1mm; thickness: 8.9mm; weight: 6.15mm. This bovine vessel mount is in the form of a head facing forwards. The main part, except the ears, is sub-circular in cross-section. The eyes are in the form of two punched ring-and-dot motifs and the snout is quite stubby.
