A complete chert implement of probable Neolithic date (c. 3500 BC - c. 2100 BC). Length 146mm, width 67mm and 37mm thick. Weight 404g. The implement has been made on a large flake. It is sub-rectangular in plan and the butt and cutting edge are rounded in profile. It is sub-triangular in cross-section. The sides taper slightly from the butt to the cutting edge. At the top, close to the butt, the width is 60mm and close to the cutting edge the width measures 67mm. The ventral surface has an indistinct bulb of percussion. An incomplete polished stone axehead of Neolithic date (3500 BC - 2100 BC). The axehead has been made from a pebble of local stone, greyish green in colour. It is sub-triangular in plan and in side view it is pointed at the top and rounded at the bottom. It has a chip at each corner of the cutting edge on both faces. These appear to be recent breaks. Old breaks are situated on each face of the butt. These breaks have overlying striations have may have been created by an attempt to smooth the breaks. A fragment of a Neolthic flint axehead (3500 BC-2100 BC). The fragment is the butt end of the axehead. It is sub-rectangular in plan, sub-triangular in side view and pointed oval in cross-section. Both faces have been knapped overall. The arises are not sharp. No polish visible. One face has a light buff patina and the other face has a variable patina ranging from pale buff to reddish brown. The break is old and is also patinated in similar colors to the faces. 60.6 x 41.2 x 20.9mm. Weight: 56.94g.

It appears to have been made on an elongated pebble and is knapped overall. Length: c. 200mm. The information, images and find-spot location have been kindly provided by the finder on email. An incomplete Neolithic flint flaked axehead (c. 4000 BC-c. 2351 BC). A transverse break has occurred about half way along its original length. This implement is now sub-square in plan and is pointed-oval ('lenticular') in cross-section. In plan, the sides flare slightly from the break to the curved cutting edge. The arrises are not very sharp. The axehead is mottled grey and pale orange with iron staining. The break is old. Length: 65.0mm; width: 51.5mm; thickness: 26.8mm. Weight: 106.22g. A complete Late Neolithic flint oblique arrowhead (2700 BC-2351 BC). This arrowhead has been made on a broken tertiary flake. The dorsal face has been retouched at each side edge and the removals are short and invasive, scaled and low angled. The ventral face has conchoidal ripples and one edge has been retouched. These removals are short parallel and low angled. The break forms one side and it would seem that the flake was chosen in order to take advantage of the break to form a side.
