A complete medieval cast copper-alloy and enamelled heraldic harness stud (c. 1307-1324). The front face of the pendant carries an enamelled heraldic device comprising four transverse bands in blue enamel, with five red birds or martlets fairly evenly spaced around the plate, the silvering in between now missing due to post-depositional corrosion. However, a small fleck of decayed silver survives. At the rear, an integral tapering spike is sub-square in cross-section and its tip is bent at an angle of 90°. A fragment of one half of a Medieval to post-Medieval pair of scissors (c. 1400-c. 1600). The fragment consists of small portion of an eccentrically-set finger loop, a circumferential collar and a small portion of the blade. The blade is flat and rectangular in cross-section. It has a maximum thickness of 1.1mm. On the outer face of the blade there are two punched concentric rings. A fragment of a late Medieval or early post-Medieval copper-alloy branched, double socket type candlestick (c.1450-c.1550). The surviving portion is a curved branching arm with a circular mounting platform for one of the sockets. The curving part of the arm and the shorter section are lozenge-shaped in cross-section. The platform is stepped on the underside and has an iron pin through the centre which secured the socket. This fragment has a green patina and the break is old. A rim sherd of a Medieval coarse-ware vessel (c. 1200-c. 1400). This flared bevelled rim has an angular rim and the surface is concave just below the rim on the interior face. It has a grey/off-white core and the surface is orange. It is tempered with rounded quartz, angular flint and some shell. The breaks are old. A gilded cast copper alloy object. Possibly part of a vessel of Medieval, fourteenth to fifteenth century date (AD 1300 - AD 1500). Length 18.9mm, width 17.3mm and 11.8mm thick. Weight 9.84g. This fractured and crumpled fragment is possibly part of the spout of a vessel. It has moulded decoration which appears to represent part of the head of an animal. A sub-circular annulet forms an eye (possibly) and small linear grooves emulate hair or fur (possibly). The object is in poor condition and the breaks are all old.
