Two handle fragments and a base sherd of late medieval (1400-1500) earthenware. The fabrics are light in colour with quartzite inclusions. The strap-handle measures 61.7x88.2x13.7 mm and weighs 74.7 g; the base sherd (with thumb impressions) measures 38.1x45.7x11.9 mm and weighs 17.6 g; the tubular handle measures 115.1mm in total length, 55.2x 55.1x11.9 mm (upper length, width, thickness) and 19.1x19.8 mm (lower length, width) and weighs 121.0 g.

Four handles, three rim sherds, two base sherds, two feet (probably from a tripod pipkin) and one body sherd of post-medieval glazed earthenware, dating to c.1600-1800. The fabric is sandy earthenware, orange in colour with micaceous and quartzite inclusions. The glaze are shades of orange, green and brown. The largest sherd measures 68.1x111.8x17.2mm, the smallest measures 36.6x52.82x13.3mm. One rim sherd has rouletted decoration and is possibly of 19th century date. The sherds collectively weigh 712g (to the nearest 2g).

A Roman (AD 43-410) rim sherd of colour coated ware, the fabric pale/ pinkish in colour and slightly greasy to touch; several large inclusions have eroded out. The colour coating is dark brown and on both inside and outside surfaces. The rim projects in a curve from a deep groove flanking the edge of the vessel wall. Measures 43.3x36.8x10.2 mm and weighs 22.3 g.

Three base sherds and two rim sherds of c.17th century Hampshire/ Surrey border ware. The fabric is white/ pinkish in colour with very small quartzite inclusions; the glaze is green in colour and on the inside surface only, except for one of the base sherds where the glazing is both to the outside and inside surfaces. The largest sherd measures 48.3x 66.8x8.3 mm, the smallest 20.9x35.1x6.2 mm. The overall weight of the five sherds is 80.5 g.
