An incomplete cast copper alloy flat handle from a patera, dating to the 1st century AD (length: 54mm; width: 35mm; thickness: 2mm; weight: 17.64g). The handle is broken at both ends, with a clean break at the narrow neck of the handle (which would have continued to the body of the patera if complete). At the opposing end, only a small part of the circular terminal remains with part of the circular suspension hole also remaining, which is edged by a thick, raised collar. A knapped/ worked Mesolithic flint blade, dating from c. 8000 - 4000 BC (length: 38.3mm; width: 11mm; thickness: 3.7mm; weight: 1.62g). There are no radiatting lunettes down the ventral side indicating the force the impact when the flake was knapped from the core, and there are two arrises on the dorsal side. A complete cast copper alloy flat sub-rectangular strap end, dating to the 10th century AD (length: 30.9mm; width: 19mm; thickness: 3.1mm; weight: 6.62g). This strap end derives from the Winchester style with its openwork ornamentation (there are seven open holes with possibly one filled in) that seem to form a plant/ petal decoration.
