An incomplete cast copper alloy T-shaped brooch of Roman date (AD 43-250). The brooch consists of a small narrow head flanked by two small rectangular wings with an integrally cast three stepped decoration. Approximately half of the body of the brooch is retained and terminates in an old break. The spring, pin, catchplate, foot and approximately half of the body of the brooch are all missing due to an old break. The metal is a light green to mid brown in colour. Hattatt, P 304, No 923.

A fragment of a copper-alloy cruciform brooch in the Anglo-saxon tradition dating to the early Medieval (AD 410-720). The fragment consists of the lower bow section with zoomorphic decoration in the form of bulbous eye protrusions and spatulate extensions on either side of the bow. The fragment terminates at both ends in old breaks after the lower section of the bow and before the footplate. A corpus of Anglo-Saxon material from Suffolk, pg 309, no 2. The metal is a dark green in colour. The weight was no recorded during the initial recording of the object.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy brooch of early Roman date (AD 25-60). The Brooch is a one piece Colchester type and consists of a convex undecorated bow with small rectangular wings on the head, on the reverse of which a portion of the lug is retained, through which the spring cord would have been secured. The spring, pin, foot and catchplate are all missing due to old breaks. The metal is a dark green in colour. Hattatt, Pg 296, Fig 155, No 250.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy bow brooch of Roman date (AD 100-200). The brooch consists of a partial splayed sub-rectangular head with rounded wings and part of the convex bow. There is also some indication that a partial loop remains in situ on the reverse of the head and a small portion of the catch plate remains on the reverse of the lower section of the bow. Some of the head, bow, suspension loop, catch plate and spring are missing along with the entire foot and pin, all due to old breaks. The metal is a dark greenish brown in colour.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy headstud brooch of Roman date (AD 75-200). The brooch consists of a suspension loop, flat rectangular wings, convex bow and a small rectangular foot. The hinge, pin and catchplate are all missing due to old breaks. The brooch is decorated with integrally cast linear patterns consisting of lines running longitudinally down the wings, and crossed linear decoration creating triangular cells, some of which retain small amounts of probable blue enamel. On the crest of the concave aspect of the bow is an integrally cast circular headstud with a circular board…
