A silver medieval Venetian soldino, probably of Francesco Foscari, doge from 1423 to 1457. The obverse depicts the Doge kneeling left and holding a banner, and reads FR[A.FOSCA]RI DVX, with the mint control KQ to the right. The reverse depicts the winged and nimbate lion of St Mark facing within a circle, holding book of gospels and reads [S.MARC]VS VENETI.

A Post Medieval Venetian silver coin: a soldino of Doge Leonardo Loredan (1501-21). The flan is bent but the coin is otherwise in good condition. It is 12.4mm in diameter and 0.3mm thick. It weighs 0.27gm.

A post medieval Venetian coin; a soldino of Agostino Barbarigo (1486-1501) made of an unusual alloy of gold and silver which appears golden coloured instead of the usual silver. This design was used by Barbarigo before he changed over to the new (and much more common) soldino design. However, the style overall is bad, especially the lettering and the mint mark of N over M to the right of the doge is not listed in the detailed catalogue (Barrie Cook pers comm.)
