A sherd of Medieval vessel, dating to AD 1200 - 1400. Undiagnostic body fragment, possibly a sherd of Potterhanworth Ware. The outer fabric is brown with a slightly red tint and soapy surface, it is decorated with a wave-like pattern towards the lower end of the sherd. It has an oxidised dark grey core. The interior surface is very worn. There are abundant of large and small hard white calcite inclusions (shell) and some small pitted voids. The exterior surface is compact. Thickness: 16.02 mm Weight: 39.8 g

An incomplete iron bell of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1700 - 1900. The bell is quadrangular with sloping sides to a narrow rounded top. An applied ovate sectioned looped handle is present set transversely along the top. The wide circular opening to the base of the bell is broken and worn. A smaller separate loop is present to the top of the bell inside from which the clapper would have been suspended. The metal has a dark orange/brown patina and is heavily corroded. The bell is 128.4mm tall. The base is 82.1mm x 84.5mm x 5.1mm. The handle is 51.3mm x 11.9mm x 8.2mm. It weighs 319g. …

Description Treasure reference 2018 T529: a Roman silver box-bezel containing a carnelian intaglio. The bezel and stands 7mm tall. The gem is oval in form with a polished convex face (Henig Type A), engraved with the motif of a male figure stood frontally but facing left (impression described), holding an ear of wheat in his lowered left hand and offering out patera in his outstretched right.
