Late Early Medieval to Medieval (10th to 12th century) cast capper alloy fitting, possibly a Romanesque mace or staff-head, similar to that recorded on this database as LIN-D03FB1, or some form of horse harness fitting.
The object is comprised of a circular loop with an openwork triangular terminal with an off set bar. The loop has an internal diameter of 15.45mm and an external diameter of 23.47mm, and it is 8mm wide, 3.61mm thick with a rectangular cross section.
