A cast lead token of probable early post-Medieval date. The token is sub-circular in plan. One one side is the relief-moulded image of a quadruped (possibly a horse or donkey) standing left, with a checkered pattern of infill and a crude flowerhead or sun design in the top right of the field. The reverse image is that of a gate with four horizontal bars, four vertical bars and one diagonal bar. Two finials project upwards at the top, while underneath are two letters: [..] G. Dimensions: 22mm diameter, 2.1mm thick. Weight: 7.72g.

Lead pot mend. Undatable, although it is likely to be Roman. It consists of an irregular, oblong oval flat lead front plate, measuring 35.6mm long, by 29mm wide. There are some indentations on the upper surface, although these are probably the result of post-depositional damage. On the reverse a lead stem extends from roughly the mid point of the front plate and terminates in a second, smaller, irregularly-shaped plate. Unlike example BH 3B39FO (with which it was found) there is no pottery sandwiched between the two plates. The total thickness of the piece is 12.4mm. The weight was not…

Lead plug with attached pottery fragment. Probably a mend for a pottery vessel. Although the pottery fragment is too small to be dated these items are usually Roman in date. Consists of a sub-oval, slightly convex (ie dome shaped) lead front plate, containing a small hole (damage) and irregular edges and surface. This measures 35.2mm long, by 27.1mm wide. On the reverse a lead stem extends from the mid point of the front plate and terminates in a smaller, irregularly-shaped, second plate (parallel to the first).
