An incomplete cast copper-alloy headstud brooch of Roman date (AD 75-200). The brooch consists of a suspension loop, flat rectangular wings, convex bow and a small rectangular foot. The hinge, pin and catchplate are all missing due to old breaks. The brooch is decorated with integrally cast linear patterns consisting of lines running longitudinally down the wings, and crossed linear decoration creating triangular cells, some of which retain small amounts of probable blue enamel. The ring is constructed from a single sheet of copper-alloy, which has been looped and joined to make the hoop of the ring. The external face of the ring has a deeply incised repeating floral motif. This pattern consists of a series of short well executed curvilinear lines, which interlock and form a series of leaves and (possibly) flower buds. An incomplete cast copper-alloy bow brooch of Roman date (AD 100-200). The brooch consists of a partial splayed sub-rectangular head with rounded wings and part of the convex bow. There is also some indication that a partial loop remains in situ on the reverse of the head and a small portion of the catch plate remains on the reverse of the lower section of the bow. Some of the head, bow, suspension loop, catch plate and spring are missing along with the entire foot and pin, all due to old breaks. The metal is a dark greenish brown in colour.
