The thimble terminates in a slightly pointed tonsure at its upper end and a splayed base at its lower. The decorative pattern consists of functional regular punched circular indentations. Copper alloy cast strap end from the late Anglo-Saxon period. It is almost triangular in plan and is not complete being broken at the top (widest) end. It is zoomorphic in design, probably a mouse, and dates to around the 9th century AD. The design is zoomorphic and a snout, eyes and ears can be seen. The snout is narrow at the bottom and widens up to the ears where it stops. The eyes are raised hollow circles, the ears are similar but sub-circular and larger. The ears may have been filled with something, possibly enamel for decoration.

A complete Russian lead bag seal of Post-medieval to modern date (AD 1700-1850). The seal is comprised of a single disc of metal which is perforated by a hole running across its diameter. The holes would have been for wire or textile ligatures which were used to secure a bag. Stamped text can be seen on both sides of the seal; one bears three lines of text which appear to read NI/AP12R/1802•. This text is likely to represent the name of the Quality Control Officer and possibly a code for the location at which the Officer worked or the registered number of the sealing tongs he used.…

An incomplete cast copper-alloy knife pommel of Post-medieval to modern date (AD 1500-1800).The object is anthropomorphic and depicts a head possibly wearing a head dress. The tang missing due to an old break as is the base of the pommel where it would have affixed to a handle. A complete copper-alloy hooked clasp of early Post-medieval date (AD 1500-1600). The hooked clasp consists of a single piece of wire bent into two attachment spirals at its head (bent inward towards the shank of the hooked clasp) and a single hook (also bent back towards the shank possible post depositionally). The hooked clasp is a Read class A, type 1, number 583. The metal is a dark brown with some green inclusions. Read, Pg 155, No 583.

A complete cast copper-alloy gilt finger ring of late Medieval date (AD 1400-1500). The ring is constructed from a single sheet of copper-alloy, which has been looped and joined to make the hoop of the ring. The external face of the ring has a deeply incised repeating floral motif. This pattern consists of a series of short well executed curvilinear lines, which interlock and form a series of leaves and (possibly) flower buds. An incomplete/fragmentary silver medieval double patard of Charles the Bold, Duke of Burgundy, cross fleuretty reverse, uncertain mint, AD 1467 - 1477. An agreement under Edward IV in 1469 confirmed the Low Countries coinage of Duke Charles as legal tender in England. In the late 15th and early 16th century, double patards of Charles the Bold were a part of the English currency and feature regularly in hoards alongside English groats as well as being recovered as single finds.
