A fragment of a copper-alloy cruciform brooch in the Anglo-saxon tradition dating to the early Medieval (AD 410-720). The fragment consists of the lower bow section with zoomorphic decoration in the form of bulbous eye protrusions and spatulate extensions on either side of the bow. The fragment terminates at both ends in old breaks after the lower section of the bow and before the footplate.

The metal is a dark green in colour.
The weight was no recorded during the initial recording of the object.
