A complete silver cuff link of Modern dating (AD 1800 to 1900). The cuff link consists of two hollow oval cuff link elements, joined by a rectangular link. Each element has a convex (domed) upper surface and a flat lower surface, with 'blow' holes from the casting process. The rectangular link has rounded corners and is made from circular sectioned silver wire. Each cuff link element measures 11.5 mm in length, 7.7 mm wide and 4.6 mm thick. A complete cuff link element of Modern dating (AD 1800 to AD 1900). The cuff link is rectangular in shape, with bevelled edges and rounded corners. The reverse is undecorated, with a semi circular loop positioned centrally. A rectangular chain loop, made from one piece of wire is still situated in the attachment loop. The front of the cuff link has been decorated. A complete silver cuff link element, of Late Post Medieval to Early Modern dating (AD 1720s to AD 1800s). The cuff link element was originally circular in shape with a flattened looped shank and a concave back. It is now sub circular. The edge of the element is formed by the upper edge being folded over at a right angle. There is fine engraving on the upper surface of the cufflink. Description: One part of a silver post medieval cuff link. One terminal survives it has a solid head which is square in plan, the front face is faceted and projecting and the back face is flat. There are fragmentary double stranded corroded iron wires projecting from the back face, presumably the beginning of a chain which would link this part of the cuff link to another. Treasure case: 2007 T572. Post Medieval silver cufflink, formed of a domed oval disc with silver wire loop. The upper surface of the cufflink is inscribed with the initials AB. It measures 14.46mm by 12.03mm and is 2.77mm thick. The loop is 19.40mm long. It weighs 2.66 grams. As this object likely dates from the 18th century, it does not fall within the Treasure Act 1996.
