Object type: COIN
Broad period: ROMAN
County: Cambridgeshire
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation
Possibly a post-Roman sceat, the obverse shows a Romanised bust facing right with a pronounced eyebrow and braided hair. The reverse possibly shows a stylised animal or bird. However, it does resemble a very poor copy of the Roman FEL TEMP REPARATIO (Falling Horseman) type of the 350s.
Diameter 10mm, Weight 0.74g.
