A complete pointed flint handaxe dating to the Paleolithic. Handaxes were manufactured in Britain from 500,000 BC to 40,000 BC. The tool has been bifacially worked with removals struck from either edge on both faces. There is one small oval area of original cortex on the ventral face measuring 16.5mm x 10.7mm. A body sherd from the shoulder of an Early Medieval, Early Anglo Saxon pottery vessel with stamp decoration. The dark brown fabric has about twenty percent poorly sorted sub-rounded quartz grain filler. Two stamp dies have been used, a plain die and a complete whorl design. There are also two incised circumferencial lines below the stamps. As decorated pottery is rare on settlement sites, it is possible that this sherd came from an urn.

The strap end has a fan-shaped attachment end, which has three rivet holes arranged in a triangle with a decorative ring and dot in the centre. Below the attachment end the strap end then gets much thinner, with a rectangular section and terminates with what should be a zoomorphic head. The head is highly stylised. The reverse of the strap end is flat and undecorated. The metal is mid reddish-brown in colour.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Early Medieval Anglo Saxon pin. The faceted rhomboid head has ring and dot on each of the four faces. There is a small collar between the head and the shaft. The circular section shaft is broken and has a small bend just above the break. The head has a length of 10.8mm, a width of 8.7mm and a thickness of 6.0mm. The surviving length of the pin is 29.5mm, the diameter of the shaft is 1.9mm and the weight is 3.22g.

A complete cast copper alloy seal matrix of medieval date. The seal is a pointed oval or vessica shape with a perforated lug set on a central rib on the reverse. The face of the seal matrix is badly worn and infilled with earth rendering it illegible. Seals of this shape became popular in the 13th century therfore this seal most probably dates from this period. The metal has a mid greenish-brown patina and is worn.
