Description: A modern silver jewellery item, probably a head- or chest-ornament and dating to the nineteenth century. The ornament is circular with one projecting knop at the top and three projecting loops at the bottom. The projecting hooks are integral. Their rivet heads are circular with a single raised dome in the centre, surrounded by a concentric ring, the shafts project downwards and curve to the underside of the chatelaine where they reattach at the rear. An incomplete early medieval silver probable strap-end, associated with significant iron corrosion. The surviving portion comprises a tapering, sub-rectangular plate with two silver dome-headed rivets in the upper corners. The plate itself is decorated with two rectangular fields. A late Medieval silver pilgrim badge, possibly of St George slaying a dragon, dating to c. AD 1400 - 1550. The small fragment is circular with projections, it is D-shaped in section. It is comprised of two circular fragments, one inside the other, the outer ring has a projection at the base. Th inner circle appears zoomorphic, with two faces meeting in the centre. Cast gilded silver miniature square-headed brooch. The head bears a central motif of three nested rectangles enclosing a horizontal rib, with an outer border of closely juxtaposed stamped circles of diameter 1mm. A complete Irish Medieval silver penny of Edward I, class 1b, c. 1279-1284. Dublin mint. Alan Smith kindly comments as follows: '... I think there may be a wrong image on here. As far I can see the image is definately a solid long cross Irish Edward 1st penny (second coinage) class 1b, the Obverse legend reads .EDW.R. / ANGL'D / NS.hYB' (unusually with a bar over the "S" and possibly a further mark at the end of the legend) The reverse reads CIVI / TAS / DUBL / INIE so definately Dublin mint............ as Seaby 6247 I believe'.

Modern silver bracelet terminal in the form of a moulded zoomorphic head incised with circular pupils within lentoid eyes surrounded by a banded pattern of parallel chevrons with transverse grooves creating a scale-like skin, with moulded vertical ears with a central groove, and a curled upper lip and snout and an open mouth. Undated silver fragment, possibly from a vessel or mount? 25mm long, 20mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 10.96g. The object is sub rectangular in form and rectangular in cross section. It has one straight edge with a rounded profile, the others being curved but irregular. On one surface, just below and running parallel to the straight edge, is an inlay of a copper coloured material which runs its length. The object appears to have been broken or cut from a larger object.

Silver ring brooch, now broken but substantially complete. The main section is 2.0mm in diameter expanding at four points to form 4.5m diameter beads. Description: An incomplete gilded silver pin-head in the form of a bird. The gilding on the pin-head is now quite worn. The ends of the ears and the top of the wings are both damaged. Originally they may have joined together to form a loop. The wings are engraved with cross-hatching, to give the effect of feathers. The cylindrical shaft of the pin is broken and slightly bent.
