A complete Late Anglo-Saxon (Early Medieval) to early Post Medieval iron single bladed axehead, dating to c AD 850 - 1650. The surface is moderately corroded. It has an almost symmetrical form, but with a slightly extended beard on the lower part of the curved cutting edge. Something of the bevel on the cutting edge remains. The blade narrows towards the axe head (point of contact with handle, now missing) flaring out again to create two sub triangular extensions (axe lips or lugs) above and below, on both sides, of the axe eye (opening for handle). An complete cast copper alloy Medieval rotary key. The hollow tubular stem terminates with a collar of three mouldings and a circular bow. On either side of the bow are a number of spurs that could represent animal heads. The symmetrical rectangular bit has two clefts on each side and a cleft on the bottom. The length of the bit is 12.2mm, the width is 18.3mm and the thickness is 5.5mm. The external length of the bow is 23.5mm and the width is 17.9mm. The complete length of the key is 68.5mm, the diameter of the stem is 7.3mm and the weight is 27.39g.

The surviving fraction of the side of the frame shows it to have angled, raising the buckle bar above the level of the outside edge. The surviving length is 19.7mm, the surviving width is 15.8mm, the thickness is 2.4mm and the weight is 2.89g.

An iron axehead of probable Late Medieval date. The socket is of sub-triangular section and contains what appears to be the mineralised remains of the wooden shaft, held in place by an iron wedge. The butt is roughly vertical, the upper side of the socket is convex and slopes upwards, towards the blade, and there is a pronounced lip at its base. The sides curve and then converge at the base terminating in a basal lobed or globular knop. Medieval water tap; Large, cast copper alloy water spout in an elaborate housing. The tap is of probable 13th or 14th century date. The lower housing is in the form of a human head and there is a long stem coming out of the top of the head. The stem curls over and has a beast’s head at its terminal. A decorative copper alloy plate from a buckle the form of the frame, the short rear part of the plate and the shape of the apertures seem to point to a med date 12th - 13th century AD. An incomplete cast copper alloy Medieval horse harness pendant. The triangular pedant is slightly curved and is thickened at one corner, which probably expanded into an attachment loop, though this is now missing. One of the other corners has broken off. The face has incised decoration in the form of a St Andrew's cross executed with rocker arm decoration. Some traces of gilding survive around the cross. The surviving length is 28.4mm, the surviving with is 28.6mm, the thickness is 1.2mm and the weight is 5.44g.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy medieval harness pendant mount. The rectangular plate has two integral copper alloy rivets on the back and a pair of integral parallel lugs at the bottom. The lugs were once perforated to accommodate a pin, but are now truncated. The mount is in poor condition with almost total loss of the original surface. The length is 18.9mm, the width is 21.5mm, the thickness is 4.7mm and the weight is 6.38g.

A slightly crushed Medieval lead-alloy bell. The crushed ball-shaped bell has an integral D-shaped attachment loop. The base of the bell is made up of four petal like flaps and a pebble found inside the bell may have been the clapper. The body is decorated with a pattern of cast, raised bands representing ribbons, each 4mm wide and filled with raised transverse lines. Copper alloy strap end. Narrow pointed strap end made from two sheets of thickness 0.5mm joined at the belt end by a rivet of diameter 1.6mm and length 3.3mm. It is uncertain how the pointed ends of the sheets were joined; perhaps by a spot of brazing.
