A possible part of one of the 15th century copper alloy 'lyre' shaped strap ends or buckles. These are usually socketed to hold the end of the strap. The length is 27mm, the width is 24mm and the thickness is 5mm. It is decorated with a black-letter inscription, probably m (for Mary).

A cast copper alloy shield shaped enamelled heraldic mount of probable 14th century AD date. In profile it is broadly D shaped. It is shield shaped in plan and rectangular in cross-section. This central area is also slight domed. The outer border is flat. Three small circular rivet holes can be seen at each corner of the object all complete. Copper alloy medieval zoomorphic padlock mechanism. These mechanisms usually date between 1200 - 1500AD. This is a very fine example and is probably quite early around 1200AD. The padlock (commonly termed barrel lock because of the common cylindrical shape) is shaped like a ram. The animal has four legs and the back right leg is slightly broken. An incomplete cast copper alloy hooked tag, dating from the Post-Medieval period 1500 to 1600 AD. The hook is cast in one with the plate and projects from the base. The loop is positioned at the top of the plate and would have been rectangular in shape. The plate is sub rectangular. The upper section of the plate is decorated with 7 depressions. A cast copper-alloy scabbard chape of late 15th to 16th century. The chape is cast in one piece and is broadly shield shaped in plan. The sides curve and then converge at the base terminating in a basal lobed or globular knop. The top of the chape has a central lobe, which appears to be broken, flanked by concave curves with pointed projections at either side, one missing. A decorative copper alloy plate from a buckle the form of the frame, the short rear part of the plate and the shape of the apertures seem to point to a med date 12th - 13th century AD. Cast copper alloy swivel or strap fitting dating from the early medieval period, that is the 11th or 12th century. The fitting appears complete but very worn. It is composed of two halves which are identical. They are mounted on an internal rivet and rotate freely, as can be seen in the finder's images taken from different angles. The cylindrical spout is zoomorphic in form, depicting a dog's head, with a 'C' shaped arm where it would have joined a vessel. The spout is tubular and terminates in a dog's head with open mouth; the tube spout protrudes from the open mouth. A damaged cast copper alloy horse harness pendant, dating between c1300 and c1400 AD.. The pendant is sub-circular in plan with an integrally cast suspension loop set perpendicular to the pendant. The centre of the upper edge has an integral lug with a perforation, which is perpendicular to the pendant. The outer surface of the pendant is slightly convex and the reverse concave. Similar to NMS-262F26, BERK-0A6C67, NMS-7849D0 and WAW-E8D2A5. It has been decorated but the detail is now hard to distinguish. The length is 52mm, and the width 39mm.

The object could be associated with a reputedly ecclesiastical institution in the area called St. Claire's The site of St Claire's is unknown.
