A complete cast Medieval lead weight. The shield-shaped weight has a rectangular hole near the top. On the front is a figure of a lion rampant in relief and the back is plain. Around the edge are three notches, which look as if they were cut by a blow. The length is 38.7mm, the width is 31.1mm, the thickness is 7.7mm and the weight is 55.81g.

A complete cast copper alloy Early Medieval Viking polyhedral weight. The weight is twelve sided, with six lozenge shaped sided faces and eight triangular. Lines of punch marks mark the edges of each face and each of the lozenge shaped faces contains six punch marks in two rows of three. The length is 8.7mm, the width is 8.7mm, the thickness is 8.7mm and the weight is 3.88g.

Cast copper alloy Early Medieval weight, late 9th- 10th century in date. Hiberno-Norse/ Viking in style. It is circular in plan and has been cast. It has decoration on the upper face which has been cast integrally with the weight. It consists of a triskele motif which is concave. Within the arms of the triskele are small crescents. The upper surface is decorated with five running spirals within a grooved border. The reverse of the object is decorated with three ring-and-dot decorations which are unevenly spaced. A lead alloy object which is inset with a piece of gilded and patterned copper alloy to form what is probably a weight dating from the Early Medieval period. The object is oval in plan and is 24.2mm long, 19mm wide and 9.2mm thick. The lead is hollow on the reverse. The top of the object is formed by the piece of gilded copper alloy. It seems to be a piece which is cut from a circular object because one edge is curved and has a wide gilded border.
