A copper-alloy Medieval annular brooch dating to the period c.AD 1200-1300. The brooch is broadly ovate in plan, with a rectangular cross-section. A zoomorphic head projects from the middle point of each long edge, and curves around to point inwards. It is likely that these represent snakes. The reverse is undecorated, although has a constriction at each apex to acommodate the pin, which is now missing. A green-brown patina is on the surface, as well as traces of gilding. An incomplete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) copper-alloy axe-shaped mount (c. 650-850). The object is now 'pelta'-shaped in plan. It has curving sides and a curving end. The opposite end is in the form of a break. One corner is also broken. The front is chip carved and has a double raised line border containing raised triangles all forming recesses for decoration, possibly champlevé enamel and silver wire. An early medieval cast copper alloy pressblech die, probably dating from the 7th/8th century AD. The die is complete and in fair condition. While both the rim and the reverse are smooth and in very good condition, the obverse surface is rough and very worn. The decoration, however, is still visible. Head of a copper alloy 8th century Anglo-Saxon pin, probably part of a triple, or double, pin set. The head and part of the shank survive in very good condition with hardly any corrosion or bronze disease present on the surface, except in the centre of the obverse where corrosion started in the crevices of the decoration. An incomplete Neolithic flint implement (4000 BC-2351 BC). This implement is sub-rectangular in plan and lozenge-shaped in cross-section throughout its length. In plan, one end is curved and asymmetrical. The opposite end has an oblique break with a flat surface. Leaf-shaped Neolithic flint knife or oval side scraper dating from c. 3000-2100BC. This object appears to have been bifacially flaked suggesting that it is a knife. However, we do not have a side view for this object (only two images were provided by the finder) so we cannot be certain. It looks to have pressure flaking on dorsal side. It was probably formed on tertiary debitage rather than a deliberate stuck core.
