Post Medieval copper alloy, asymmetric, buckle frame, dating from AD1550-1700. The frame is sub-rectangular, with one square loop and the other semi-circular, separated by an integral bar. The underside of the frame is flat and the inner and outer edges of the upper side are bevelled On the bar are the remains of what appears to have been an iron pin, now missing. Cast copper alloy foot of an Anglo-Saxon cruciform brooch of Aberg Group II or III, with a zoomorphic horsehead terminal. The length is 39mm, and the width is 15mm. It dates from between c450 AD and c600 AD. The PAS database has other Aberg Group II and III brooches, but none with that closely match this one. There are a number of records that have a similar zoomorphic horsehead as a part of their design.

Part of a copper-alloy finger-ring of early to middle Early-Medieval date. The ring has a circular bezel which is nearly flat. It is decorated with four pairs of curved incised grooves, one by each shoulder and one to top and bottom. These form a central lozenge, in which is an incised cross, with an annulet in each angle. The whole is in a incised circular border. The hoop is narrow and the outer face is bevelled. Only a short part of it survives, projecting from one shoulder. A cast copper alloy buckle plate of medieval date. The folded copper-alloy buckle plate has been notched to take the pin and at the edges to fit the buckle frame. It is pierced twice for the fixing to the strap rivets, one of these rivets remains in place the other is missing. The back plate is missing broken off at the fold in the area of the buckle. Dr Kevin Leahy suggests that the design of incised lines may be in the form of a bird.

Copper alloy tweezers on a circular ring, probably Early Medieval in date, c. 600- 1100 AD. The ring is plain and appears to have been cast, it has a circular cross section. The diameter of the ring is 21.63mm with a thickness of 2.66mm. The tweezers themselves are symmetrical and have been attached to the ring by folding in half, over the ring. They have a D-shaped cross section, with the flat side facing inwards, most of the way down, until they being to widen, and flatten out at the terminals. This is an unusual object that appears to be a mixture of copper alloy and iron. It would seem to be a cast representation of a pig with head and forelegs. There is a hole at the back of the head so it would seem to have been mounted in some way. The object has a parallel from MC Bishop 'Finds from Roman Aldborough, Oxbow Monograph 65, 1996. Therefore it would seem to be Roman but it's function is unknown. However the parallel does also contain a mount from the snout which may have originally been the case with this object. A complete cast copper alloy Roman wax spatula handle, probably of 2nd to early 3rd century date. The handle depicts the bust of the goddess Minerva, wearing a high crested Corinthian helmet. At the front of the helmet, on either side of the frontal ridge is an incised lentoid shape with a central perforation. The goddesses' short, wavy hair can be seen around the base of the helmet.
