An iron axehead of an uncertain date, dating to c.AD 800 - 1500. The axehead is triangular in plan and profile. The socket is sub-triangular in shape with a rectangular-shaped butt. The axehead tapers slightly before widening to a flared crescentic blade. The axehead has a mid orange patina with brown mottles. Length: 185 mm Weight: 109.21 Thickness: 41.42 mm Weight: 915 g The axehead appears to fit with Petersen Type G (Wheeler Type IV), a more direct date cannot be attributed as this type of axehead was used from the Early Medieval period through to the late Medieval.

An incomplete cast copper alloy bracelet dating to the Roman period, c. 4th century AD. The object has been cut down and reused to form a finger ring. The artefact is trapezoidal in plan, in that it narrows very slightly from one end to the other. It has a rectangular cross-section. The bracelet is decorated unifacially using ring-and-dot motifs. Copper alloy unidentified object. Cast object, flat on one flat side and with a prominent convex drum-shaped feature on the other, which is elsewhere flat with a median thickness of c.2.8mm. Kevin Leahy kindly suggests this may be a post-medieval hinge, as the lack of pin gear and drum shaped feature disqualify it from being an Early Anglo-Saxon brooch. An incomplete cast lead alloy Early Post Medieval dress hook of Read's Class D, Type 6, c. 1500 - 1550. The object comprises of a triangular base with three raised circles of equal size arranged around a smaller knop in the centre. The triangular plate has a frilled edging. The back of the object is flat with the remains of three attachment points. The object has a light grey patina.

A gilded lead horse harness pendant of post medieval date (c. 1700 - c.1800). It is in the form of an eight petalled flower, the lobate petals aranged around a cetral boss. Traces of gilding remain on all petals. The rear surface is flat and undecorated. There is a corroded iron pin 41 mm in length apparantly soldered as a replacement for the original suspension loop. Diameter is 39.5 mm, thickness 5.5 mm. Weight 38.4 g.
