A fragmentary or incomplete copper alloy object of uncertain date, perhaps a vessel handle, consisting of a sub-circular terminal (22.8mm wide) with a central perforation 2.2mm in diameter, and extending to one side a rectangular-sectioned projection 14.5mm wide and 3.7mm thick. This projection terminates in an old break after c.10mm. The object thins from max.3.7mm thick at the break to 1.2mm at the opposite end of the sub-circular terminal. Undated silver fragment, possibly from a vessel or mount? 25mm long, 20mm wide and 4mm thick with a weight of 10.96g. The object is sub rectangular in form and rectangular in cross section. It has one straight edge with a rounded profile, the others being curved but irregular. On one surface, just below and running parallel to the straight edge, is an inlay of a copper coloured material which runs its length. The object appears to have been broken or cut from a larger object.

The fragment is from a shallow cup or bowl with an orange fabric of a fine, hard texture and an orange-red slip which is still glossy in places. The fragment is decorated with a medial strip flanked by narrow borders. Within the strip are four curved arches each with three vertical lines within. This decoration is unusual as it has been scratched into the slip, removing it down to the level of the original fabric, rather than moulded or stamped. The cylindrical spout is zoomorphic in form, depicting a dog's head, with a 'C' shaped arm where it would have joined a vessel. A fragment of a cast copper alloy vessel of medieval date. The fragment is part of the leg of a probable cooking vessel such as a skillet. The leg has a central raised ridge with a pointed D-shaped section and widens slightly towards one end. The breaks are worn and pitted. While it is not possible to allocate this fragment to a specific a mid 13th to 16th century date is generally accepted for cooking vessels. The metal has a mid blackish-brown patina and is slightly worn. The fragment is 31.5mm long, 22.6mm wide, 16.1mm thick and weighs 36.1g.

A cast bronze handle from a heavy-duty bronze vessel. The handle has broken off the vessel, allowing the section to be seen. It is sub-rectangular and measures 19.2mm x 7.5mm. The handle is flat but stepped down for the terminal, which is rounded and measures 15.1mm x 12.4mm. The upper surface is decorated with an incised geometric design, partly formed from ring and dot designs.

The section expands 6.0mm away from the edge, before tapering to a rounded rim. A bend on the edge opposite the rim is not an original feature. The length is 19.4mm, the width is 19.0mm, the thickness is between 1.63 and 2.0mm and the weight is 3.95g.

Three fragments of a copper alloy sheet Early Medieval Anglo Saxon hanging bowl. The circular base fragment has a small perforation in the centre with a diameter of 1.8mm. The body fragment is torn around the edges and has seven small perforations clustered together. The rim fragment has a maximum width of 10.mm and a maximum thickness of 1.28g. The three fragments are slightly polished on one side and dull and worn on the other. They were all found in close proximity of each other and in the same field as a hanging bowl mount (NLM-A6E546).

A body sherd from the shoulder of an Early Medieval, Early Anglo Saxon pottery vessel with stamp decoration. The dark brown fabric has about twenty percent poorly sorted sub-rounded quartz grain filler. Two stamp dies have been used, a plain die and a complete whorl design. There are also two incised circumferencial lines below the stamps. As decorated pottery is rare on settlement sites, it is possible that this sherd came from an urn.
