A Roman cast, copper-alloy elongated leaf-shaped (Crummy type 4) seal box dating from the 2nd to 3rd century AD. Only the lid survives. There is a worn circular pierced loop at the hinged end, and the opposing end has a small rounded knob. The upper surface has champleve enamel decoration. The design is comprised of a raised outline of a leaf (heart-shape) enclosing a central uncertain design. There is further floral decoration located above and around the raised leaf-shape.
